As a longtime Catholic educator (and mom of Alex), this podcast served as a wonderful mini "back-to-school retreat" for me because it reminded me not only of "what" I must strive to accomplish in the Catholic High School setting, but also, "why". Of course, Catholic educators are essential to the mission of the Church, and I am blessed to serve under administrators who truly understand and strive to implement what you discussed here. However, sometimes, in the midst of life's distractions, I catch myself losing this focus and feel the need to pivot and intentionally rededicate each hour of my day to the Mother of God, "Mater Dei", for whom our school is named. With that in mind, I believe this podcast could easily serve as a "discussion starter" for any Catholic school faculty meeting or in-service day. Nicely done, gentlemen ... and thank you for my "mini retreat"!

Like Alex and Fr. Kelley, I am too an anomaly of being a Catholic School graduate who is still practicing and striving to love God and His Church. It is great seeing other young adults my age, concerned and working to pass the Faith on to future children. This is an eye-opening take on the problem of and the solution to Catholic Education, so thank you so much Alex and Fathers for the deep and hopeful insights!
